This commissioned outfit has
been made to replicate an
outfit worn by Camille Clifford.
The quintessential Gibson Girl.

The fabric used is a
beautiful emerald green
pure fine silk.
Fully lined in matching
green fabric.

The bodice is very closely
fitted to the Antoinette doll,
but because she hasn't got
a Gibson girl type figure, all
the seams have been
carefully created to run in
lines that create more
shape and give her more of
an hourglass figure.

The skirt flares out at the
knee to give a fishtail

The dress fastens at the
back with invisible press
studs and tiny glass bead
button trim.

The front of the dress has tiny
sparkling diamante stones set into a
chain stitched pattern of gold thread.
A pearl bead hangs loose beneath,

This has all been repeated on the
front of the little matching clutch bag.

The tiny shoulder straps on the dress are accentuated with off the shoulder
straps that have been folded into roses and trimmed with tiny beaded

The skirt hemline trails away into a delicately shaped train behind the dress.

To finish off there is a pair of golden strappy dancing shoes.
